• History: The Civil Aviation Cabin Services program was established in 2018 to train cabin crew for the aviation industry. This program, which graduates approximately 20 people each year, provides training to meet the need for qualified human resources in the aviation industry.
• Department Program Outcomes: Students who graduate from the program will have knowledge about the safety culture required in the aviation sector and the basic principles of aviation. Cabin crew candidates are given both theoretical and practical training, and students take courses that support their personal development. Graduates will be able to use the information they have learned in the aviation sector and become competent enough to serve as cabin crew and other aviation-related positions.
• Education Language / Type: The education language of the Civil Aviation Cabin Services program is Turkish. Students receive their theoretical courses and practical training in Turkish.
• Infrastructure Opportunities: The program offers students the opportunity to receive training in classrooms equipped with equipment used in the aviation industry. Through mock-up training, which is especially important for cabin crew training, students reinforce their theoretical knowledge in practice. In this way, students graduate by gaining practical experience in environments that simulate real flight conditions.

Purpose / Objectives of the Department / Program: The main purpose of the Civil Aviation Cabin Services program is to train cabin crew and aviation professionals with the qualifications needed by the aviation sector. The program aims to ensure that students adopt a safety culture and learn the basic principles of aviation. In addition, students are provided with the necessary infrastructure to prepare for the sector with courses and practical training that will contribute to their personal development. The aim of the mock-up training is to reinforce the theoretical knowledge of students in practice.

Current Status and Future of the Department/Program: The program, which opened in 2018, graduates approximately 20 people each year and continues to provide qualified cabin crew members to the aviation sector. The program, which is taught in Turkish, equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary to work in the aviation sector. The program will maintain its importance in the future due to the rapid growth in the aviation sector and the continuous demand for professions such as cabin crew. Considering the increasing requirements for job security and customer satisfaction in aviation, it is expected that job opportunities for graduates will increase.

Graduates of the Civil Aviation Cabin Services program can be employed in various positions in the aviation sector, primarily as cabin crew. The main professions are:

• Cabin crew
• Ground handling personnel
• Customer service representative

Job Opportunities: Graduates can work as flight attendants in airline companies, as well as in other institutions and organizations that provide services in the aviation sector. In addition, the expansion in the sector and the increase in demand for aviation services further increase the job opportunities of graduates.
