​Transportation and traffic services can be supported by technological infrastructure to ensure the more efficient functioning of transportation systems. Due to the increasing importance of the transportation and traffic services field in recent times, the aim is to train qualified human resources who can work at an expert level in areas such as road infrastructure, superstructure, supervision, planning, program, and policy development; urban, regional traffic, transportation, and logistics, by using new methods and the latest technologies

They can work in public institutions and organizations. They can also be employed in technical works of municipalities and in private sector companies that build highways, railways, airports, ports, transportation and mass housing roads, and in companies that provide services in the field of land, air, railway and logistics.

• Course Contents / Course Catalog

Double Major Program: This program offers students the opportunity to earn a bachelor's degree in a second field of study in addition to their primary department. In this program, students complete the courses of two different departments and can obtain a diploma in both fields.

Minor Program: The minor program allows students to take a specific number of courses in a field of study outside their main department. Students who complete the minor program are awarded an official certificate in that field; however, it does not equate to a second bachelor's degree.

The Department of Transportation and Traffic is an educational program aimed at providing students with in-depth knowledge and skills in areas such as the management, planning, and supervision of transportation and traffic systems. The department's career goal is to equip students with the technical knowledge, managerial skills, and analytical abilities needed to efficiently, safely, and environmentally friendly operate transportation infrastructure.
